Galicia:Aumenta el gasto en tragaperras, bingos y casinos

Galicia cumple la máxima de que en tiempos de crisis aumenta el gasto en juegos de azar, tal como evidencian las cifras recogidas en el Informe Anual del Juego en 2008, hecho público por el Ministerio de Interior. Los gallegos gastaron el pasado año en juegos de gestión privada. loterías y apuestas del Estado y la ONCE la friolera de 1.530 millones de euros, algo más de un 27% que el año anterior.

Para muchos gallegos parece que la receta para salir de la crisis económica que atravesamos está en los juegos de azar, en especial en los de gestión privada, que incluyen las máquinas tragaperras, casinos y bingos. Un total de 889 millones de euros salieron de los bolsillos de los gallegos para tentar a la suerte en esas modalidades de juego. De hecho, en este grupo Galicia encabezó en España en 2008 el incremento en las cantidades jugadas, al aumentar el gasto en algo más del 54% con respecto a lo jugado en 2007.

En este grupo de juegos el aumento contabilizado se debe, con mucha diferencia, a las tragaperras, que parecen ser las preferidas de los gallegos para tentar a la suerte. El gasto total en Galicia en estas máquinas fue el pasado ejercicio de 789 millones de euros, frente a los 459 del año 2007, lo que supone un aumento de casi el 72% en el gasto.

Por el contrario el desembolso en en casinos fue de casi 32 millones, un 21% menos que en 2007; en tanto que lo invertido en cartones del bingo ascendió a 68 millones de euros, un 10% menos que en el año anterior.
