El Gobierno busca ingresos con nuevos juegos
Marejada en el sector del juego. El organismo público Loterías y Apuestas del Estado (Quiniela, Euromillones, Lotería Nacional…) se reúne en Madrid con las diferentes asociaciones de loteros para anunciarles las líneas maestras de lo que será la reordenación del organismo.
Lo más inmediato será la división del organismo en dos empresas, un proceso similar al que han hecho otras compañías públicas de otros sectores como el ferroviario (Renfe y Adif). Cuando se apruebe, el LAE se dividirá en dos empresas: una para regular el juego y otra para competir en el mercado.
La compañía pública, como hizo el ferroviario, se dividirá en dos empresas: regulador y operador de juegos Una vez aprobada esa división, el objetivo del LAE, marcado en el contrato programa que rige su funcionamiento, es sacar al mercado nuevos juegos para aumentar sus ingresos. No hay que olvidar que, como muestra el gráfico, los ingresos del LAE han sido sostenidos en 2008 por el Euromillones.
Aunque, de momento, se trata sólo de sentar las bases para crear nuevos juegos, las asociaciones privadas han rescatado un viejo argumento para atacar los planes del Gobierno. “Es increíble que el Estado quiera aumentar sus ingresos fomentando la ludopatía y el juego”, dice un directivo del sector.
¿Qué nuevos juegos sacará el Estado? Pues en el sector están convencidos de que el LAE entrará en el mundo del juego online, que sigue su ascensión en facturación (+17% en 2008). “El futuro es ese: apuestas por internet y, muy importante, por el teléfono móvil”, dice una fuente del sector.

So not really on the same topic as your post, but I found this today and I just can’t resist sharing. Mrs. Agathe’s dishwasher quit working so she called a repairman. Since she had to go to work the next day, she told him, “I’ll leave the key under the mat. Fix the dishwasher, leave the bill on the counter, and I’ll mail you the check. Oh, and by the way…don’t worry about my Doberman. He won’t bother you. But, whatever you do, do NOT under ANY circumstances talk to my parrot!” When the repairman arrived at Mrs. Agathe’s apartment the next day, he discovered the biggest and meanest looking Doberman he had ever seen. But just as she had said, the dog simply laid there on the carpet, watching the repairman go about his business. However, the whole time the parrot drove him nuts with his incessant cursing, yelling and name-calling. Finally the repairman couldn’t contain himself any longer and yelled, “Shut up, you stupid ugly bird!” To which the parrot replied, “Get him, Spike!”

@ Newman I know what your mean. In todays economy its hard to find a job that pays well and is stable . I have found that if you just work hard and are consistent you can go places . Look at the writer of this page , they are clearly hard working and have just been consistent over time and are now enjoying at least what would appear as somewhat of a success. The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.

If you’re still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Zune then an iPod and see which one sounds better to you, and which interface makes you smile more. Then you’ll know which is right for you.

Of course this subject can be extremely touchy for most people, my opinion is the fact there needs to be a middle or common ground we all can find. This is getting a bit more subjective, but I much prefer the Zune Marketplace. The interface is colorful, has more flair, and some cool features like ‘Mixview’ that let you quickly see related albums, songs, or other users related to what you’re listening to. Clicking on one of those will center on that item, and another set of “neighbors” will come into view, allowing you to navigate around exploring by similar artists, songs, or users.
